AI Enhancement
AI Enhance
Transform your rough sketch into a polished storyboard frame. The AI generates 3 variations. Use the Faithful ↔ Creative slider to control how much the AI deviates from your original drawing.
Style Consistency
When you enhance a panel and pick a variation you like, that image becomes the visual reference for the rest of the film. The AI will match the line weight, shading, and aesthetic of your chosen output across subsequent enhancements.
Faithful ↔ Creative Slider
Controls how much the AI improves your sketch. Faithful (left) cleans up your drawing while staying very close to what you drew. Creative (right) lets the AI refine details, improve anatomy, and reinterpret your sketch more freely.
Describe & Modify
Guide the AI with context ('two people at a cafe') or modifications ('darker background'). The more specific, the better.
Reference Image
Upload a style reference so the AI matches that visual look across your panels.
Generative Lasso
Lasso any region of your panel and prompt the AI to redraw only inside it — change a face, swap an object, fix a hand. Everything outside the lasso stays pixel-identical.
Canvas
Draw
Sketch on the canvas with pressure-sensitive pencil types. Works great with Apple Pencil or any stylus.
Upload
Already drew on paper? Upload images (PNG, JPG) directly as panels.
Layers
Separate your drawing into layers. Toggle visibility, reorder, or draw on each independently.
Grid Overlays
Toggle rule-of-thirds or golden ratio grids to help with composition.
Depth of Field Brush
Paint cinematic blur onto your drawing. Three f-stop presets: Soft (f/2.8), Medium (f/1.8), Strong (f/1.2). Directs the viewer's focus.
Pose Puppet
LabsA 3D mannequin to help draw tricky poses. Adjust limbs, then trace over it on a separate layer.
Pin Character
LabsLasso-select a character to save to your library. The AI references pinned characters for visual consistency across panels.
3D View Tool
LabsSwitch between camera angles — Front, 3/4, and Top-Down — with perspective grids. Helps you draw scenes from different viewpoints.
Blocking (3D)
3D Blocking
Block out scenes in 3D with simple props and characters. Position figures, set the camera, and plan your shot composition before drawing a single line.
Props & Characters
Drop in characters, vehicles, buildings, and environment objects. Drag to position, scale to taste, and rotate to compose the shot you want.
Camera Control
Move the camera freely around your 3D scene to find the perfect angle. Switch viewpoints to plan complex blocking and coverage.
Sketch to Storyboard
Send your 3D blocking straight to the storyboard. The AI converts your scene into a clean black-and-white sketch panel ready to be enhanced.
Storyboard
A4 Sheet Layout
Panels are laid out on A4 landscape sheets matched to your film's aspect ratio — 6 per sheet for 16:9, 4 for ultra-wide, 3 for portrait. What you see on screen is what prints.
Panel Captions
Add scene descriptions, dialogue, or action notes below each panel. Choose Simple mode for freeform text, or Structured mode for separate Action / Dialogue / SFX fields.
Reorder & Duplicate
Drag panels to reorder them — the grid animates smoothly into place. Duplicate a panel to create variations or continue a sequence from the same starting point.
Version History
Every panel keeps a history of previous sketches. Open it from the panel menu to browse earlier versions with thumbnails and restore any of them.
PDF & PowerPoint Export
Export your storyboard as a formatted A4 PDF or an editable PowerPoint (.pptx) with panels and captions — the layout matches what you see on screen.
Timeline
Timeline
Add panels from the left-side panel picker. Set durations, reorder clips with drag & drop, and preview your storyboard as an animatic.
Audio & Music
Import music or sound effects to their own tracks. Clips show waveforms, can be dragged to reposition, trimmed, and have volume, mute, and fade-in/out controls.
Voiceover Recording
Record VO directly in the timeline. A recording indicator shows while you're live — tap Stop when done. Recordings are automatically cleaned up with click removal, subtle fades, and a gentle voice boost.
Text Overlays
Add text cards — scene headings, dialogue, or notes. Time them to appear with specific panels. Text respects letterbox/pillarbox safe zones.
Animate & Ken Burns
Toggle Animate to add camera movement to stills — pan, push, pull, tilt, or track with up to 10 keyframes and easing controls. Reframe clips in Static or Animate mode.
Export
Export as MP4 video (with live progress, including on iPad), XML (Final Cut Pro & Premiere), EDL, or a ZIP of individual frames.
Sharing
Share Link
Generate a unique share link so collaborators can view your storyboard without an account.
Pin Protection
Add a 4-digit pin code to your shared storyboard for an extra layer of privacy.
Comments
Viewers can leave comments on individual panels for feedback and collaboration.
Projects
Projects
Organize your storyboards into project folders. Each project can hold multiple films.
Films
Each film is an independent storyboard with its own panels, style, and timeline. Switch between films freely.
Settings Per Film
Each film remembers its own aspect ratio, reference images, and AI settings independently.
